Whether you call it the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, PPACA, Health Insurance Reform, Health Care Reform, the federal health care law, or Obamacare (some Americans view this moniker as politically incorrect) you can’t live in America and avoid it any longer.
On January 1, 2014 ALL individuals, employed or not, must make a health insurance decision. The ramifications are significant. We encourage Nevadan’s to face this monumental change with their eyes wide open and avoid rumors. We’ve heard people say such things as, “I’m going to the State Exchange to get free health insurance” and “Bah! The government can’t enforce any health care rulings.” Nothing could be farther from the truth.
In an effort to help employers become educated, The Applied Companies is holding ACA informational meetings during 2013. Our business is employment. It is imperative that we be on the cutting edge of this monumental change in how Nevada does business and we want to share our expertise with you.
Please click here to see our current meeting dates and location. What you do in 2013 impacts 2014. Join us – why face the ACA alone?
